Kensington Industrial Park
The Kensington Industrial Park is a 40-acre location that is home to a cluster of firms providing products and professional services to the agricultural community. The site houses the provincially-run Potato Services Centre and is located adjacent to a major boat building operation.
Where is the Kensington Industrial Park located?
The Kensington Industrial Park is located in the town of Kensington. Access to the park from the south and west is through Industrial Park Drive from Route 2 and 6 respectively.
Who administers the Kensington Industrial Park?
The park is administered by the Kensington Industrial Commission.
How much space is available at the park?
- Total acreage is 40
- Contains 22 fully serviced lots with several lots available for development.
What is the price of land and services at the park?
- Land – Base price is $15,000/lot. Lot sizes are approximately ¾ of an acre. Price subject to change. Lot configurations are available for 0.75 to 4 acres.
- Service Installation:
- Water and Sewer Costs – Water and sewer costs are not currently included in the price of land. The water and sewer mains will be connected to the property line but it is the responsibility of the client to connect to the existing system.
- Roads – Costs of driveway installation, parking and paving are the responsibility of the client.
- Power – Installation and cost of power is negotiable between the client and Maritime Electric.
NOTE: There are no tax rebates or incentives available to property owners at the park.
