Bridges Program

The Early Childhood Resource team provides support to licensed Early Learning and Child Care Centres. The team works with early years supervisors and staff to develop action plans for positive curriculum results.

Staff of the Early Childhood resource team include early childhood coaches, early childhood specialists, and early literacy specialists. The team:

  • supports supervisors, staff, administrators and owners of early childhood development centres to enhance learning environments and provide training and mentoring;
  • encourages increased quality in early learning programs;
  • enhances the level of integration of children with special needs; and
  • encourages a community of learning within the early childhood sector.

Who is eligible for the Bridges program?

Participation in the Bridges program is mandatory for all designated early years centres.  All other licensed early learning and child care programs may request assistance from the Early Childhood resource team.
