Buying Land

There are several sources for government information and services that will be helpful when considering land development:

• Use the Address Locator to determine if land is located within a muncipality with an official plan and by-laws;
• Contact your local municipal office or Inspection Services when land is located outside a muncipality with an official plan;
• Visit Registrar of Deeds

Building 

Once you have determined that the property you have purchased, or are considering, meets your requirements, the next step is to look for a reputable builder.
