Health PEI Storm closures and delays February 6, 2024

The following services are closed or delayed today, February 6, 2024 due to weather and uncertain driving conditions:

• Appointments at hospitals (including surgeries/procedures) will go ahead as scheduled today – if you are unable to make your appointment please call ahead to reschedule.
• SHORS Charlottetown appointments delayed until 10:30 a.m. – further announcement at 9:30 a.m.
• Obs/Gyne at The Mount appointments delayed until 10:30 a.m. – further announcement at 9:30 a.m.
• Queens Central and Queens West Primary Care – starting appointments at 10:00 a.m.
• Kinlock Medical Home delayed until 10:00 a.m.
• All Public Health in-person appointments are cancelled until 12:00 p.m. – further update at 9:30 a.m. 
• Orthoptists at the Polyclinic in Charlottetown delayed opening until 10:00 a.m. – further announcement at 10:30 a.m.
• Provincial Pain Services at the Polyclinic in Charlottetown cancelled – patients will be contacted to reschedule.

If you have any health concerns or need immediate health information, call 811 to speak to an experienced registered nurse for advice on the best course of action.

Islanders with appointments at hospitals, clinics and other health care services are reminded to please call ahead to confirm their appointment – or notify staff if they are unable to make the appointment.
